Molly

Molly is a 6 year old neutered female, who was found as a tiny kitten in a cardboard box in the street. After rescue, she spent her first 6 months living in an upstairs flat with the young man who found her, and developed a taste for chips!

When she came to live here she had never been outside because the street was too dangerous, and it took a long time before she could come to terms with things like "outdoors" and "upstairs", but she is fine now, and enjoys the freedom of garden, and the woods and fields beyond.

She still enjoys chips, and is a bit of a tyrant! She will chase most other cats (and dogs) off her patch, yet with humans she's the eternal kitten, and loves to play. One of her party tricks is to retrieve bottle tops and bits of scrunched up silver foil, which are thrown for her.

Fliss

Fliss (short for Felicity) used to live next-door, but came to live here when the neighbours moved away. She is 6 years old and had kittens very early in life, but has now been neutered because pregnancy nearly killed her.

She is apparently a white Persian/Chinchilla cross, with one blue eye, and one which is half blue and half yellow. She has a soft, but very thick coat, and doesn't seem to mind the cold or the wet, preferring to stay out at night. She's a very nervous cat, wary of humans until she gets to know them, but is a fearsome and accomplished hunter
